| spring grove cemetery has been serving the cincinnati community since 1845 and is the second largest cemetery in the united states. a friend from california was visiting ohio, and we went to spring grove cemetery, cameras in hand. i was embarrassed to confess to her that, having lived in cincinnati for 30 years, i had never been here before. the cemetery was established during a recurrence of choleara on 733 acres, 400 of which are beutifully landscaped. it is, in fact, an arboretum, and one of the richest venues in the area for photographic opportunities. |
